It is a small pattern made by hand-dying the Yaemukouume crest and the chrysanthemum crest.

Since the chrysanthemum is the emblem of the imperial family, it has meanings such as ``nobility'' and ``exalted'', and the chrysanthemum pattern is an auspicious pattern that also has the meaning of warding off evil spirits.

The plum pattern is also considered to be a symbol of ``life force'' and ``prosperity of descendants.''

In ancient Japan, purple was considered a noble color because precious dyes were used, and even today it is considered a ``noble'' and ``mystical color.''


Yuzen - A dyeing technique that was created by reproducing the painting style of Miyazaki Yuzensai, a fan artist from the Edo period, in dyeing fabric. By applying glue to the outline of the pattern, a detailed painterly style is created. Yuzen, which is completed through at least 12 to 15 steps, is a work that brings together various techniques of artisans such as dyeing, embroidery, and gold painting.
