松竹梅だけでなく菊、楓、牡丹などの吉祥文様があらわされています。
菊文様は、古くから貴族や武家で使用されてきたことから「高貴」、楓は季節によって色を変えることから「世渡り上手」「長寿」、牡丹は奈良時代に中国から渡来した植物で「百花の王」と呼ばれる富貴の象徴でもあります。
