From the Edo-zuma kimono, which is luxuriously dyed with auspicious patterns.

It is said that the name ``Edo tame pattern'' was given to the hem pattern dyed in the Edo period (a pattern only on the hem of a kimono), and today it refers to the kimono itself with a hem pattern worn at weddings.

It is said that the Edo sleeve pattern was also drawn on the kimonos of women in the O-oku area.

This is a valuable antique piece from the early Showa era that was custom-painted by a craftsman for a special occasion.

The chrysanthemum pattern, the pine pattern, the imperial car, and other patterns that are drawn using plenty of fabric are all auspicious patterns that have auspicious meanings.

It has a calm color scheme but a luxurious pattern that incorporates many patterns.

Yuzen - A dyeing technique that was created by reproducing the painting style of Miyazaki Yuzensai, a fan artist from the Edo period, in dyeing fabric. By applying glue to the outline of the pattern, a detailed painterly style is created. Yuzen, which is completed through at least 12 to 15 steps, is a work that brings together various techniques of artisans such as dyeing, embroidery, and gold painting.
