全て手作業で行う総絞りは、染める前に生地すべてを非常に細かく括る必要があり、多くの染め技法の中でも最も贅沢なもののひとつとして知られています。
季節感を感じさせない絞りの花柄は昔から人気の文様のひとつで、絞り染めの華やかさがさらに増します。
