亀甲繋ぎ文様と楓文様を織り出した銘仙から。
夏物で透け感のある生地です。
楓は蛙の手のような形であることから、「かえるて」→「かえで」になったと言われています。
季節によって色を変えることから「世渡り上手」「長寿」などの意味があります。
亀甲文様は武士に好まれた文様であることから「強さ」「権威」の象徴とされています。
